Samantha had her 4 month check up on November 30th. She now weighs 14 pounds and 13 ounces. This is about 75th percentile for her age. Her head is still 75th percentile and her length is about 50th percentile.

The doctor suggested that we start to feed her solid foods. She's not ready for ribs and chicken quite yet but Meg gave her some cereal in her formula and she loved it. The second time time meg fed her solid food her eyes were glued to the spoon. She is definitely a good eater.

Samantha has been a bit crabby the last few days and the doctor confirmed our hunch: she is getting her top 2 teeth. We are feeding her a steady dose of Tylenol and it seems to help.

Lastly, she got 3 shots today. She didn't even flinch on the first two but the third shot was tough. Despite crying a lot in the doctors office, she stopped crying by the time we got outside and fell asleep on the way home. She's a real trooper.
